We are Hooked up and ready to Roll

Hi Gang, We are all ready to pull out early in the morning, we have enjoyed our visit in Burkburnett Texas but are now ready to go west back to Nevada. We are going to spend tomorrow night somewhere in NM.

I have to tell you that it has been 2 1/2 months sense the work was finished after the fire and everything is working great. A Big Thanks to Southern Komfort RV in Milton Florida and Double that for KEYSTONE.

Safe travels. Sure hate that you have to leave our old hometown. What did you find to do that was exciting in Burkburnett?

Judy, It was exciting being here where we had never been before and the people here are the best, we did go into town and see the all the neat stuff there and went out to the casino for a little bit, then made a trip up in Oklahoma but not much there to see.LOL. We have liked it here at the Burkburnett RV park but there are just too many stickers and goatheads, not to say that the planes that fly over all day is not a distraction.LOL. This is a good place to spend a night but other than that I would not stay here again....

Great news. Glad everything is working well and know that feeling of expectation waiting to get on the road. My sister reports the truck and trailer are back at the storage lot (out side) hooked up and ready to roll.
Have a safe trip and tow safe.

I was pretty sure that you would find out that Burkburnett wasn't the most exciting place to visit but it is a nice little town because of the nice people there. And the stickers are awful! Have a safe trip to Nevada.

John, I know you're excited about seeing that Montana again. Travel safe and have a great R & R.

What is your route through NM and AZ? We can give uyou a couple of suggestions as to
RV parks in Tucson/Phoenix, if you are headed that way. We are in Show Low, which is 40 mi S. of I-40, on the eastern edge of AZ. Hwy 77 is a straingh and easy route from Show Low to Holbrook and I-40.

Fantastic news Linda! I know how much you've been looking forward to getting back to Nevada.

So nice to read that all the repairs have held up, everything is fine and you're pleased.

Have safe travels and may the good Lord bless you both and your trip.

PJ, if you and Nan are in Show Low, you're only 339.2 miles from Cannonville, UT. Come on up! We'll be here until 5/13.

Linda, you folks drive safely and have no more major events. We are looking forward to meeting you and Walt on 5/15!

Well, PJ, make that 420.9 miles. S&T does the same as the Park Owner told us MapQuest does. It routes you on Cottonwood Road. You do NOT want to drive that with a Montana. We've taken part of it. It's dirt/gravel and in some places rather narrow and twisty. Utah labels it a "scenic backway." You'd need to take US 89 around to UT 12. Still, not that far. Come on up! Bryce Canyon is gorgeous.
