SUNSHADE ON REAR WINDOW

While camping in Myrtle Beach, I saw a Sunshade on a roller mounted on the rear window. I was wondering if any Montana owners have such an item and if so, where was the purchase made?

Diana,

Try looking up Carefree of Colorado.
I think you'll find what your looking for there.

Happy Camping

We had one made in Florida last year. Ours was made with snaps and we store it rolled up behind the sofa when not in use. If your parked facing the north and get the morning and evening sun in the rear window, it cuts down the glare and helps the AC. I thought it was worth it. It was made at the campgrounds on our lot by a traveling vender in Encore, Orlando last year for 130.00.

Here's the link for the SunShade from Carefree and they don't seem too pricey

We have a sunshade on our rear window. We got it from Carefree. I think there is a pic in my album.

Hi Bill & Ann ...

Does the sunshade make an appreciable temperature difference relative to simply closing the inside night shade? I expect there is a significant difference in the ability to see out the rear window but wonder about the temp?

Thanks,

Bill

Bill: We got the sunshade because the back of our unit faces the sun when we are in the RGV. The temps get hot down there. To give you an idea how it keeps the sun and heat out, we seldom close our night shades during the day. The sunshades do not restrict the view. We close the night shades at dark as you are like a fish in bowl at night. We are planning on adding them to all windows eventually. One tip, do not get white as it doesn't work as well as the black.
