I also have a 05 3295rk and I replaced the city water connection--it is all one piece on mine and was an easy change out--it is a one piece unit that includes the door and the hoses attach on the back side--

If yours is in a concave compartment like ours that is hard to get to, you might want to add a quick disconnect after you replace the fitting. It sure makes it a lot easier to deal with.

If you don't want to replace the whole assembly, some of the water inlets will come apart. The ones that do have a place for a hex wrench (allen wrench) behind the screen. By holding that part, you can then unscrew the back off of the connector. Unfortunately, the one on our Mountaineer doesn't come apart, so a hack saw will be necessary to remove the old one. The one on our TT was the kind you could take apart.

Gary-- I replaced ours on our 2004 2980 this last summer and if your water fill is on the rear drivers side there is a sloping wood cover over the connections on the inside of the unit where the rocker/recliners are at. Peel the carpet back and unscrew the wood cover. It was relatively an easy job. Disconnect the connections onthe inside then just remove the screws that hold the unit on the outside and the whole unit pulls out after you cut the sealant loose. Don't forget to reseal it again when putting the new one back on!
