HamRad.... how did you like the Vineyard RV park (in Vacaville) when you stayed there a few years ago?

They have cleaned up the RV park (Midway RV) next door to the Vineyard and the pictures look kind of nice. It used to be a major dump a few years ago.

By the way... are you running marathons yet? Getting ready for that victory lap around the sites at Lake Siskiyou?

We thought the Vineyard was a nice enough place. It is not an outstanding place but certainly OK. We would stay there again.

We looked at the Midway and it was a total dump! No two ways about it. Glad to hear they have cleaned up their act.

As a matter of fact I am ready to do the walk right now. I can't run but am so happy to just be able to walk. And am still relatively pain free. So we are looking forward to the "walk"!
