Point of Rocks RV in Prescott AZ
I've mentioned this park before, but it really bears a repeat. This is a beautiful park within the city limits of Prescott AZ. It's in a setting of red rocks called the Granite Dells, comparable to Sedona AZ. There's not a bad site in the park, most have views of the countryside or the rocks. There are 2 lakes within walking distance, both are city parks. Only negative is the lack of cable, but you can get 6 broadcast stations, besides, there's so much to do in Prescott that you shouldn't be watching TV. The main attraction in Prescott (by the way, they pronounce it "Press-Kit") is the old courthouse square which is surrounded by shops and restaurants, one side of the square is called Whiskey Row and still has many of the old saloons. If you think I sound a bit enthusiastic, it's true; Shari and I have chosen to retire there!
