Asheville, NC
Looking for recommendations on rv parks in or near Asheville, NC. It will need to be a park that can handle larger rigs - 42' fifth wheels and 45 motor coach. Thanks!

We stay at creekwood in Maggie valley or Waynesville for 5 weeks every summer and part of the fall and can handel anything you put in but you better call as they fill up fast. We will be on the creek from June 24 to aug 8 about and I have a 38' and lots of other rigs inthere , its 30 min to Asheville as our daughter lives there so many trips

I have to agree with Sailor, we stayed next door at Pride Resort and Creekwood was MUCH nicer.

you really can't beat http://www.ashevillebearcreek.com/ just minutes from downtown and on two freeways. VERY Biltmore Estate
can be a little noisy at times but it just depends on where they put you.
go to grove park inn for drinks/dinner, go to lake lure for dinner, spend the night at the hotel. do the blue ridge parkway.

You are better to stay at creekwood and drive into Asheville as bearcreek is a noise box in the mess of highways.

As you stated you have a new 42', Asheville Bear Creek may be a bit too tight for that size. I have a 37' 2006 3400RL(outside dimensions including the ladder) and it was tight backing into the site. We were on the upper level.
Just and FYI and mHo

Pride Resort is Coast to Coast, almost free. We stay there often.
