Washer/dryer hoses capped

Today I disconnected the W/D hoses from under the bathroom sink and capped the tees so the winterizing will be eaisier. When we got our new 2955RL a couple of weeks ago the service guy was showing us everything and told me that I would have to winterize the W/D bibs every year. I gave him a "look" and he told me that since we are not going to install the W/D he would find me some caps which he did.

Good idea whiptail. I think I will do the same on mine, although I haven't had any problems to date.

That's exactly what I did and for very same reason. Also, I wanted to reduce the chance of a leak or spill in the W/D closet when de-winterizing.

Same here. Also I didn't want nasty water sitting in those lines forever.

We did that a couple of months ago after we noticed a "smell" coming up the bathroom sink.

I was told that if I didn't de-winterize the W/D lines that the water in the sink would smell.
