Lady Lake tornado - any info?

Haven't heard of anyone from the Forum experiencing significant damage from the recent Central FL storm / tornado. Were we so lucky as to not have anyone effected by it?

We have an aunt who lives about 1 mile north of The Villages. No damage to their home, but their description of the storm was amazing. Sheet lightning all around and continuous thunder which vibrated the house for several minutes.

I'm pretty sure that the Recreation Plantation, just west of Lady Lake, must have been very hard hit. Anyone hear from Rob Cooley, a long time Forum member, who lives just east of Land Lake?

Just tossing all this out for any info.

I think most of our MOC members who are in this area have checked in to say they had no damage. Guess we were all very lucky.

PJ ... I agree that it appears the MOC family came through this without injury or serious damage. Last I heard, someone was still checking on the whereabouts of The Wind. Rob Cooley did post that he and Julia were fine.

I believe RC and Samantha's family also fared well through Mother Nature's latest hissy fit.
