The adventure begins...........

We just got home from the dealership with our brand new 2007 Classic Chevy Silverado 3500, DRW, 4x4. Duramax Diesel 6.6L V8 Turbo, Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. LT3 package with Onstar and XM Radio. Camper mirrors and 5th wheel wiring package. Color is Sport Red Metallic protected with Simoniz System 5 Teflon sealant and with tan interior. Boy does it look sharp.

Tomorrow, I am ordering the Pressure Pro tire air pressure monitor and Tuesday, we have an appontment for a Line X bed liner.

Next comes selling the stick house and getting the Montana. Unfortunately, it looks like that will be at least a year away. Anyhow, thanks to MOC University, we will be ready when the time comes to place the order.

I just love it when a good plan comes together. Congrats on the new truck. It sounds like a winner. Hope it performs better than expected.
Happy RVing.....

Donandbonnie; Sounds like a fine set of wheels. Congrats. If I'm not careful, I'll be in the same boat. I read Jeanne the specs on the 6.7L Cummins, (50% quieter, more torque and HP, 3db reduction of in-cab noise, 6 speed double over auto tranny) and right away she wants to go to the Dodge dealer. I have to remind her: 1st, this one's paid for, 2nd, it's only 1 1/2 year old and only has 17,000 miles on it.

Congratulations!

In the short 3 months and 2,000 miles I have owned my 2007 Classic; I can say I really love this truck.

You're going to love that truck!

I have 5000 on mine...yesterday I added some mud flaps, the Montana gets filthy, and have a Extang RT tonneau cover on order. The rear view mirror is for the compass, temperature guage and, when towing, to be sure the Montana is still there, 'cause otherwise you wouldn't know it!

Don,

I have had my 2500HD 2007 Silverado Classic for about a month and I'm still getting things in place. If things work out I'm going to have the fifth wheel installed the week of Christmas, I can't wait to see how it tows! Good luck.

Congratulations and good luck! The adventure begins...

I've about decided we'll be in the market for a new tow vehicle this coming summer, just prior to this one turnin 100k miles. I'm not excited about towing as much as we do without an engine warranty and ours runs out at 100k miles. So I'll be watching all the posts about tow vehicles so I make a good decision.
