Freightliner is a Dodge!

I just got a parts order in for my Freightliner FL70. The parts come in a Freightliner box that also had the print "Chrysler- Daimler Corporation" on the box.
So my Freightliner is really a overgrown Dodge. Now Freightliner is also a dealer for Sterling trucks, Sterling is made by Ford...
So is my F250 SD PSD a Dodge? I sure hope not!
Just curious where the corporate line is drawn.
Alright do not get your feathers ruffled, just having some fun.

What's the world comeing to? Fords with International engines, that have Caterpillar injector nozzles, Dodges with Cummins engines owned by Ford Motor Company, Chevys with Isuzu engines, and now Freightliners with Dodge parts! IMHO I think they are all in kahoots with each other and are on a secret mission to see how confused they can get everyone.LOL

If you drink arsenic out of a bottle labeled "Coke", it will still kill you. If you drink Coke out of a bottle labeled "arsenic", it will not kill you. The point being that labels are irrelevent. It is what is in the bottle that counts.

Name my truck anything you like, but I like the performance I get regardless of who made it. Gee, this is way too deep. So much for philosophy. I learned all this stuff from Forrest Gump.

And then there's that ridicoulus "Ford Owns Cummins" assertion again.
Why would Ford spend millions with Navistar to develope engines when thay already owned the best.

I think you will find that Daimler has owned Freightliner since the 1980's. DaimlerChrysler’s passenger car brands include Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge and smart. Commercial vehicle brands include Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, Setra, Mitsubishi Fuso, Thomas Built Buses and Orion. Ford does not own Cummins.

Ford does not own any part of cummins anylonger. They used to have 10% stock but cummungs bought it back. Ford does use the cummins in there 550 and larger trucks but buys them from cummins.
