Cleaning under slide out awnings

Any recommendations on how to clean the underside of the slide out awnings? I have cleaned the top of the awnings with an awning cleaner solution and a brush, but I cannot get the middle of the underneath clean. I tried spraying a bleach and water mix on the top of the awning and closing the slide for 60 minutes, but the underneath of the awning did not come clean.

I welcome suggestions that worked for you.

Try a Swiffer Mop soaked with any brand of mold and mildew cleaner. When I had slide toppers, I'd use the mop while standing on a ladder. The articulating head on those mops work well. Rinse off with water after a brisk swabbing ... they shine for another few months.

I do the same thing with a soft brush on the long arm that I use to clean the rig.

I clean the top of the slides with them closed. It never occurred to me the underside of the slide out awning required cleaning. Live and learn.

I cheated and used "scrubbing bubbles"! Yes it works, but you got to hit them twice and rinse well. It removes wax if left on the gel coat. We also used a gallon water with 1/2 bleach and 1/4 cup Dawn! It got the stains out. Now I just use the bubbles! Note to self: black toppers next time!
