Learning more about our 3160 RL LE

We took off around noon today and pulled the unit about 200 miles from our home over White Pass highway 12 to Harmony Lakeside RV Park. Pretty decent drive overall. We gained about 4000 feet in elevation going over the pass. Got the unit backed in and set up for the weekend. No surprises with any cabinets coming open etc.
Started the AC's and of course the zone one was not very cooperative but zone two worked flawlessly. A little while later we were in the kitchen area when we heard a weird noise. Turns out when the zone one AC is running the lights that hang from the ceiling over the kitchen island were violently shaking causing the noise. I got on a kitchen chair and could see the whole light fixture shaking about 3/16 of an inch up and down in rhythm to the AC compressor. Our thoughts were "really" you got to be kidding. This was with the unit on high. Just another surprise from Keystone. . We did have a bit of work to get cable tv to work correctly. BR and outside TV had great picture but the LR picture quality was terrible. I did tighten all the loose connections and that did help but I think I still have some more work to do on that cable run.
The RV park is very nice and we do expect to have a nice weekend.
Talked with the owners of a Big Sky and they have similar problems.

We had a bad vibration on ours right after delivery, turns out wasps had built a nest on one of the fan blades causing the imbalance.

As mentioned, you might want to check for an imbalance in the fan. Could be wasps, could be a leftover piece of plastic or packing material, or any number of things. Our units run very quietly. I can hear the compressor start up (slight hum) but otherwise very quiet except for the air movement noise. Yeah, that two zone system takes a bit of getting used to. In checking our zone two (bedroom unit) I found that the "sealing" job of the unit was not the greatest. Several air leaks, so I got some of the metallic high pressure HVAC tape (shiny stuff) and sealed up all the air leaks inside the unit. No leaks now, and unlike regular duct tape, the high pressure stuff will NEVER come loose.

Thanks for the ideas on what to check with the AC. The AC seemed to be pretty quiet as we have the whisper quiet system. Just the vibration. Looks like a roof excursion is on the agenda.
