outside plastic slide trim

The slide trim is starting to look like it could stand a good cleaning.... Has anyone cleaned this plastic trim???? What is a good product that will clean it without hurting the finish...

Thanks

Just had my minion do that this weekend. After trying several products, I ended up using a product call bleach white. It's used for white wall tires. It will strip wax so you need to spray onto a tooth brush. Then carefully brush the moldings. Then quickly rinse with fresh water. We waxed the RV afterword. They are as bright as brand new. I tried other products, but it works the best. You can wipe it on with a wax applicator, and rince, but it needed scrubbing and small brush worded the best. Takes lots time, but it's a yearly chore. My RV is in the weather uncovered and still looks new.

Thanks for the info..
Will give it a try next week...

I am talking about the wide pieces of trim on the outside of the slide..
I keep a swim noodle on the bedroom slde to protect it from damage when I hit my head on it...where it is not covered by the noodle it is getting very dirty...will not wash off with soap and water...

I tried cleaning mine and they still looked bad. It appeared after cleaning they would not clear up. So, I painted them. I used the spray paint made for plastic. I used the bright white on them and they look like new. I painted them in place. I taped them off and protected the area around them from over spray. Don't try to cover in one coat. You have to do light coats to get a smooth finish. Since I did all my side corners at once by the time I reached the first one I painted it was ready for another coat.
