Can I tell if i`am wired for AC

Lots of talk about adding a second AC in the bedroom.My thoughts are 2 is better then one.My unit is a 2001 model with 50 amp service.I currently have a fantastic fan over the bed room vent.

Is their a way for ME to tell if i`am wired for a second AC???

I don`t think I would be to thrilled about having another AC installed and having them to run wires where ever,if its not already wired for the second AC.

If it is already wired.i would have the AC installed and have them move the fantastic fan to the bathroom.

p.s. I do have a washer/dryer installed as well.

My breaker panel has a 20A breaker labeled for the second A/C. Look at yours to see if the breaker is there, if so it is prewired.

Look for a covered junction box adjacent to the vent opening. This is where the 2nd AC will tap into its power source. If you have one and as Charlie says, if you have a breaker labeled 2nd AC, then you are wired.

It is a simple wire pull on my 3400RL, don't know about your Monte, but don't be hesitant just because of the wiring, (If you don't have it now) The breaker is also easily added.
