Screw caps. I have not seen any threaded pipe. Did you have to glue an threaded insert for the cap into the pipe? I assume that we are all using 6" pipe.

It is a threaded female slip on, no glue needed as it is really tight. The cap is male and threads into the slip on. Guess we could have taken a picture of the cap removed. BTW the brackets Doug got for us hang down just enough to clear the gas line that is on the street side going to the kitchen. The brackets are tight against the frame but the tubes are not. All seems to be traveling just fine.
