A simple fix

If your pocket door goes too far in the wall like ours did, here’s a simple fix. Got a corner brace (Joyce’s choice) and screwed it to the door. The track, however, wasn’t level so when the door is closed the brace is down on the door but when it’s open it’s flush. So, check before you attach it!

Good unobtrusive mod. Color blends well. Do you need a small self adhesive felt or rubber pad on the bracket to prevent damage to your door facing?

Mine stops flush with the door facing so I think I am good.

Good catch, I've got some tiny fuzzy patches around here somewhere and I just haven't found them yet.
