I have the Ford GPS in my wife’s car and Kenwood with Garmin in our MH and don’t really like either one. Like someone above said I have Delorme Street Atlas and find it far superior to the other ones I have. I made a mount for my 10 inch pad that fits my Ford truck and MH so it’s like a built in unit but better because you can easily take it out.

Ford GPS cards are available on Ebay for under $50. But to be honest, I would use a good after market GPS designed for large vehicles and comes with lifetime updates. We have a Rand McNally RVND 7720 and love it.

I don't have any experience with other brands, i.e. Magellan but most are happy with their choice as the RV dedicated features are similar

After about the 3rd time rerouting Samantha said " Stop in 400 feet I want to get out" '

My Garmin RV760 properly mapped the location to an RV park in Ventura, CA but then failed to tell us how to actually drive to it. So it was marked nicely on the map, but never told us what offramp to take so we waved as we drove by on the 101 northbound and took the next exit 2 miles away to double back! Complete (and mysterious) FAIL!
I am occasionally annoyed when it insists that I "make a legal U-turn" at times as well...
Yes, I am using the RV mode with my trailer data properly input too, so it should know that making a U-Turn is usually not an option with a 36' 5th wheel in tow.

It will pass the entrance for a CG in Florida we have gone to several times and want me to go 1/2 mile to make a U. Fortunately I saw the entrance before it was passed as it would be a very long drive to be able to come back. That is the only place it has done that in hundreds of trips.
