ice crystals

Have 2011 3465sa forms ice crystals in freezer.Dealer placed a washer in lower hinge as per norcold.Still forms ice, any suggestions?

We have ice on our back wall in the freezer also just noticed it Saturday.

These absorption refrigerators are NOT frost free. The freezers do have to be defrosted periodically. I usually do it when mine gets about an inch of frost on the back plate.

Agree with Exnavydiver. These units have to be defrosted. On a four month trip last summer I think we had to defrost twice.

This one has frost at front of freezer.Contacted norcold were told to return to dealer let them do more test.Door does not seem to seal tight.Norcold said some do some don't.

Over 4 months in Florida and never had to defrost, formed very little on the far right side fins but would come and go.

Ours must be defrosted about every 2-3 mos.
