stripped landing gear

Could someone tell me who to contact for parts on the landing gear mechanism? A friend has a 2004 3670RL that has sheared the teeth off the gear in the front compartment that raises & lowers the landing gear.

When my landing gear went sour, my extended warranty covered parts and labor to repair it. I had to pay shipping and a $50 deductible. At that time the shop helped me get up graded to the next higher rated motor and gear box. Mine is also a 3670.

That happened to our brand new 3670 about the third time we used it. We went to a local Keystone (not Montana) dealer and they arranged for new one to be shipped to them, and I installed it myself, since I did not want to move the trailer in that condition. (Actually hand cranking the legs is not too hard, but I just did not want to have to pack everything up to move). If you are out of warranty, then I would see if MIMF2 can help you out, I know he has done a similar thing for friends of ours. Send him a PM explaining your problem, ...or maybe better yet, give him a call at Lippert Components Customer Service, 1 866-LCI-SVC1 ask for Dale Brubaker.

As an aside, I noticed that the original gear motor was made in China, the replacement was made in Dayton, OH.

Thanks Stiles and OntMont for the replies. You were dead on John. I called Dale (I didn't even realize this was a Lippert product) and he has everything under control - again! What a guy! It sure would be nice if they made EVERY component...
