Mesh Slide Material scrape/tear

OK I have a new 3000RK.
And here's the question.....
While putting tire covers on my wheels I was under the slideout and I noticed that the black plastic mesh covering has scrape/tear thru it. It is about 2.5 to 3 feet long and came from a screw that was left under the material, between it and the wood bottom.

Is this stuff important or should I just let it go.

It's not hanging down, more like a scuff/scratch/tear in the plastic.

Thanks.......

Ed

Make sure the screw is not cutting into the rubber seal. If it was mine I would get it fixed because its on warrenty. Just my opinion.

Ed, Yup, I'd get it repaired. That covering protects the floor of the room. Someone made a mistake when the room was built and since it is under warranty, I would get it fixed.

Yes sir I have that very same problem. Only I noticed it when I saw a huge black thing hanging down from the bedroom slide. We towed it to Gardner's RV in Kalispell and they made the proper repairs. Don't know why but there is a lot of this thing happening. Now just waiting for the insurance to come and give the ok to have the rubber roof repaired...When Paul gets back from rehab we will be out of here. I am sure he will be ready.
