Microsoft Word Question!

Have a question!
Could someone tell me how to set Microsoft Word so that when I’m typing the words doesn’t keep going and going right off of the page? I have tried and tried to find a place to click on to make the type wrap so that it won’t do it. Something has changed on my settings causing this and I can’t find a way to fix it back.
Thanks!
Computers can be so frustrating at times
Have a Merry Christmas!

In Office 2007: Go to "Word Options" - "Advanced" - Under "Show Document Control" check the box for: "Show text wrapped within the document window"

I set up a page like I want with the borders, indents and all, then save it as 'Blank', then pull it up, make my letter, or whatever, then rename it and the 'Blank' stays in the file for use the next time.

Thanks for the information! I’m using Word 2002, under tools then options there is a box that is already checked which is for “Wrap to window.” This is all I can find and it isn’t working.

This was working better until recently and I don’t know what happened to change things around. Sometimes things like this just happen. I use 2 monitors and like to open word on the monitor on my right side and leave the browser on the left monitor. I use word for editing my postings which has the spell check and also makes it much quicker. Then when I’m ready to post I just use the “copy & paste” method.
Have a Merry Christmas!

If you don't have the disks, just download "Open Office". This is a free open source MS Office look-alike. Works very well, and has all the features of MS Office and then some. There are versions for both Mac and Windows.

Find your default template and fix it in there. Or, fix a document the way you want and then save it as a template.

Open office is a good product. The GUI is different then MS, but they have to do that for copyright purposes I guess.

Firefox browser will show you your misspelled words as you type by underlining them in red. You right click on the misspelled word and a list of suggestions shows up. Choose one and click on it and the misspelled word is replaced.

I like the second monitor and have been using that on my desktop for years. I started doing that when someone told me I could multi-task. I can talk and tick people off at the same time. Works for me.

I downloaded the Open Office program. It looks like it is a nice program. However, in case anyone is curious my daughter showed me what was wrong in Microsoft office. I clicked on “View” then clicked on “Normal.” That took care of the problem. I had clicked on “Print Layout” somehow. This was keeping it from wrapping like it should have.
Thanks and have a "Merry Christmas."

That your daughter showed you the problem reminds me that a book I often read says, "And a little child shall lead them." Your daughter is probably not a child, but there seems to be some connection between youth and electronic gadgetry.
