Wallpaper border removal

Pat wants to remove the wallpaper borders in our 2012 3100RL and replace it with some kind of glass tiles. Have any of you done something like that? What's involved in removing the existing wallpaper? Any helpful tips? Ken

We (read I) did it as soon as we brought our 2010 home. I tried several wallpaper removal products to no avail. It just pulled away from the wallboard without damage. It did leave a slight telltale adhesive residue that I have tried to get off for the last four years....again without success. Glass tiles will look beautiful. Anxious to see the result.

We did NOT remove the wallpaper border when we put up glass tiles behind the stove we just cleaned the area with grease remover and laid down grout OVER the border and put up Glass tile sheets, sealed the grout and they have stayed put that way traveling all over with no problems, I guess their is also glass tile sheets that have adhesive on the back so you do not have to grout as well but could not find those at Home Depot so we grouted them, it looked so good and has held up well we will do the same in the Bathroom, If you do a search on "backsplash" you can see mine

My wife , Lizanne, removed our border. It pulled off with no damage to the wall, but I agree there is a slight sticky residual left. I kinda like the idea of glass tile, especially behind the stove.
