Hwy 89 Page Az Flooding

I found 'some' info on flash flood on 8/3/2013 near Page on 89 but looking for current info. I know about the road closure on 89 south of Page but this flood is more recent and concerned about traveling around the town of Page and Lake Powell. Thanks,

ADOT puts out a travel advisory every week. You can subscribe to it if you spend much time in AZ (we do). Here's were you find it http://www.azdot.gov/docs/default-so...p.pdf?sfvrsn=8 It won't let me copy what it says about it today, but you can go there and see.

On the National Park site for Bryce NP, there is a special message that US89 south of Page is closed. The route to Bryce is to the west thru Kanab, UT. We are heading that way is a few weeks. And yes, the tunnel at Zion is not good for Bigs rigs although some have been escorted thru it--atleast that is what a few have claimed!

Yes, got info from reply on rvnet under "roads and routes". I checked Az DOT and no info on the flood which was actually in city limits of Page. Seems everything is okay for our visit next month. The reply had a link to the newspaper (Arizona Sun) which listed streets in Page that were flooded. I then used google earth to determine where the flooding took place. Sorry for not posting followup.
