I read up on those sights, some have shattered the ruby or whatever jewel they have to seal the gas inside the glass tubes, so my 'Get a bigger hammer' I usually use, wouldn't work.

You are 100% correct! The sights have to be put in and adjusted with a tool similar to the one you made or you risk breaking a $80 pair of sights.

I recently read a story about one of those 'wannabe gangstas' that was in a shootout with LE. He was shooting with the gun on the side and the orientation caused a bad eject and jammed the gun.
He didn't look so cool in the stretcher.
I forget the name of the pistol but apparently it has a bad reputation for jams when not straight up. Ha, poor dope didn't know how to read gun mags.

It's amazing that even a limp wrist can cause a semi-auto to jam. Most any semi-auto I have heard.
