Anyone using Level Airs

I just ordered a pair of these. They appear to be a good way to go in leveling the unit side to side. Is anyone else using them and if so how do you like them. I searched this forum but got no hits.

Would you tell me more about them or do you have a website link? I'm always interested in easier setup (aka less work).

Thanks.

Bob & Carol I have the level-air.They are in one word-AWESOME.I really love these bags.It takes ALL the guess work out of leveling side to side.I get it perfect every time out. When inflated they are as hard as a rock. With a good pair of wheel chocks and these bags you will be very pleased. They are pricey but they will out last ME probably. One of the best add-ons I have bought so far.

Here is the web site for them.
www.levelair.com
I ordered a pair Friday.
Will give them a go on July 4th weekend.

One question. When you run your slides out does the level change?

Thanks
Bob

When you are leveling from side to side. I assume you are taking and inflating one bag until the coach is level side to side and then inflating the second bag until it just starts to affect the level?

I spoke to the owner of the company and he stated that if the rise is only 1-2" then that is not a bad way to do it. If greater say 2-5 then inflate one bag half way then the other then the first till level then the 2nd to match.

Do you feel any rocking more than conventional or less?

Thanks
Bob

Nope no rocking to speak of.I inflate them just as you said.If over 3 inches out of level I do what the owner said also. Its really nice not to have to carry around all those boards.you will be very pleased.

Interesting, thanks. How do you plan to inflate them? 12v inflator, 110v compressor, or foot pump?

As for slides affecting level, I wondered about that, too, but found ours do not affect level because I have stabilizers in place. It does not seem to shift things off level on the trailer suspension, either. At least on ours. The levelairs wouldn't be any different than using blocks in that respect.

This is what I do when leveling with blocks but I don't see where it would be any different with the bags. I found that putting a block under just one wheel raises the coach half the height of the block. THat allows some fine tuning of level. So if I just needed to raise the coach a little, I'd probably just use one bag. Maybe up to an inch. Above that I'd use two bags/blocks but might have one wheel a bit higher than the other to fine tune the level.

That said, it would be nice to be able to see the level while airing up the bags, to eliminate the guesswork. Maybe there's room for yet another invention here.

I didn't see anything on the website about max height increase of the inflated bags. Anybody know? The highest we've had to raise one side is about five or six inches, and that made me rather uncomfortable. It does not appear the bags could be used in conjunction with blocks or other devices.

Thanks for the info. The levelairs look very interesting to me.
