Problem with HalfTime oven

We are having problems with our Apollo Half Time oven when used as a convection oven. When setting the temp. at 350 degrees or less we get NO heat at all, I tested it and it draws 0 amps. If we set the temp at 400/450 degrees it does works. Took it to a repair shop and they have no ideas as to what might be wrong. I also gave them Tamy's number and they can't come up with any fix either.
As anyone on this forum experienced this type problem before or have any ideas as how to fix this.
Thanks for any help/comments.

Had same problem with unit in our 07 34004RL. Tried about four time, still did not work. So I called the Dealer. He walked me through everything I did before. The oven started heating. I was a little embarrased. He did tell me the oven must be cool inside or it will not heat. When I did bake in it (on 1/2 time) it baked better than my house oven ever did.
I know this probably did not help, just thought I would share my experience with this same problem.

Good luck.

Amps, did you ever get a solution to this?

I fried our 1/2 time. Didn't use the infamous "metal plate". Actually the plate was not the bad part... the lack of description/warnings about NOT using it in the manual was/is the problem.

Cheryl neglected to put it in prior to heating some scalped potatoes in a small glass bowl (2" bottom). She just put it on the glass rotating plate in the oven and turn on the 1/2 oven. 6 min later the plastic grill was melted, there was a smoky haze in our new 3400, and the wiring in the oven was totally fried. Could not get the element in the back to go out - even after we quickly turned it off.

Someone posted that it sounded like a thermostat failure, allowing the unit to overheat. I am taking it back down to my dealer on Wed(?), along with my new queen bed mattress and bedding (to change for a king bed/bedding).

I will ask the dealer to have Apollo get back to me as to what happened specifically to this oven.

*On Edit~ I say all that to mention the possibility that your thermostat could be malfunctioning...

The plastic gasket in the door broke on ours. It would not allow us to use the microwave funtion at all. I tried cooking baked potatoes in all three modes and it took 3 1/2 hours to cook them. The steaks, salad and mushrooms had long since been eaten.

The fix for our Apollo, the Monty is at the dealership as I type getting a new one.

That plastic gasket also popped loose on ours and prevented the micro wave from working,It however did not break and we were able to reseat it. If you Microwave stops working check that plastic gasket for proper seating..just another little thing..

Can someone tell me if when using the convection mode of the Apollo oven, the glass turntable (with the metal rack on top) goes around as it does in the microwave mode. Thanks.

The plastic gasket in the door broke on ours also. only used it twice. It would not allow us to use the microwave or the oven. It won't work at all.
Dealer is going to replace.
