How to get new AC/Heater remote?
When we bought our fifth wheel the AC/Heater remote was missing and the Dealer said they would send us one. Well after a couple of weeks we are still waiting. I can turn on the AC by pushing a button on the Unit but have no temperature control and don't know how to turn on the furnace but it was running when we bought the RV. I am still calling to try and get a hand held remote from Dealer. Does any one know where I could buy a remote if I have to? I am assuming it is a Dometic.

The remote thermostat came with models made around 2005-2006. It was a troublesome device that many of us got rid of by changing the thermostat to a Dometic "Comfort Control Center". If you really want one, I may have one (or maybe two) kicking around at home. I will not be home for a couple of weeks, but if you can wait, send me a PM with a mailing address, and I will try to find one and send it to you. (no guarantees though)!

I'm fine without it, but thanks. I just wanted to know if I was missing something.

Rodger if you were close to me I have one I would give to you. But then you would be mad at me after a short time. they were alot of trouble. I paid 200$ for the kit to change mine out then keystone started to give them to folks. But I do still have mine if I can help.

Bobby, We used to live in Summerville, SC. I don't recall seeing a box on the wall but only buttons on the unit. I will have to see about getting the kit.

Rodger the box I am talking about is the little sensor. It has a green and red lite if I remember and maybe 2 buttons???. I think it has the green lite when on AC and red when on heat. I have been to summerville many times we did alot of heating and AC work there over the yrs. had a office in charleston.
