Has anyone ever put a Splendide in a 3455

We are trying to get a Splendide washer/dryer unit in the corner closet of our 2010 3455. It appears, while it is plumbed for it.....the cabinet isn't big enough. Have any of you run into this problem??? Help....before Ken takes a 'sawzall' to my cabinet!!!

Not sure on your washer closet but on our 07 2955RL I removed the bottom and top face board and then replaced them after getting ours hooked up. Still not a lot of working room but got the job done. (needed a small square bit to remove the screws holding the face boards, don't know the size, just kept trying one after the other from the pile I had in a plastic part holder until one fit).

Can't help you with that model of Monty. We ordered the Splendide 7100XC and measured all of the doors and the closet cabinet to make sure it fit AFTER we ordered it. Lucky for us it fits...otherwise sending a washer back would have been a real pricey mistake! What part isn't big enough? Ours is on an angle and when we first measured it appeared it wasn't going to fit and then we realized that it fits especially if we shift it to the door side of the trailer.

Good luck and I would NOT be happy if a sawzall was part of the installation process either!

On a side note...one MOC member...can't remember who..suggested that we cut a hole in the side wall of the closet so that we can reach the back of the washer in case we need to tighten something and then put cedar wood paneling to cover up the hole! I thought that was a great idea...but that would be the ONLY hole I would be happy with!
