Not a club I want to have joined, but here I am.......

2017 3710FL. My dealer says he's had to do several of these and they do it in house, which I prefer after reading how long it took Golfmedik. What a shame, for how much these cost...

Also, I don't know why but my photo is upside down...you get the idea.

Well they have repaird my Alpine as well.

Heres the updated photos.

The first one is before. And the second one is the weld repaired and stuffed with wood.

Rick at Camping world in Greensboro is very easy to work with on it.

Id recommend them if you need one fixed!

I'm glad they got it repaired. I just wonder how many of them out there that are not stuffed with the wood. OR is this the 'fix' they came up with after they started coming apart? Either way, it shouldn't have happened. Mine is holding up well or now.

Well come to think of it im not sure they got my camper totally fixed. Im headed now to pick it up.

Refering back to page 5 here shows the tube was riped out.

The service guy told me they fixed the front weld not didnt mention the rear weld repair.

They did not remove the skin so theres no way for them to see it.

Ill report back what they say!

Well i pickedup my unit. It didnt move when i put it on the truck.

Got home ~20 mile tow and its broke again.

So i talked to Rick and he said he would get with the factory to see whats next. He said he would push to have it sent back. So time will tell.

can`t make this stuff up

I was following this thread because we are heading to the Camping world in Myrtle Beach to discuss the purchase of a new 2017 Front living room they have for sale next week. Now I am second guessing my deal. The 2013 we have is issue free and has been for the most part since bought. Do I want to risk this? It really seems to be the heavier models that break not the standard HC that we have. I have driven a million screws in my day and it`s real easy to tell if it is biting into something or just running in after it goes thru the surface material or is the twit on the line that stupid or in that big a hurry to not say something. I fear the latter because you know the old saying " Can`t see it from my house, and I need to get home to milk the cows".

Not all CW locations are the same. I have had great luck with the Myrtle locations ~ there are 2. Sales only takes place at one. The other is a 2nd repair facility and store. I bought my last 3 units there and my next one will come from there also. I always work with Sean Kwant, the sales manager if available or Susie Davis in sales.

Thank you for the PM. I am dealing with the Internet sales Manager right now and don`t know if I will be assigned a regular sale person when we get there, if so I will take your advice on who to chose for the sale. I'm not worried about issues with systems like the water heater, a/c, plumbing etc. those are just part replacements and for the most part not a fault of KS. When people bash KS about these problems I don`t listen `cause anything manufactured will fail from time to time. I`m just a little worried about the structural problems. So we`ll see this Saturday
Went to he Hershey show last week ( only live 1:15 hours away) there were a lot of alternatives for sale. The Grand design won out for the storage available and larger shower the Montana won for the color scheme and pull out rear tray storage but failed on the small shower on the RD or FL model. Open Road had the best price for what you got and won on the really big rear bath with large shower and color design but failed on storage space for such a large 41`6" unit on the FL model.

For what it is worth, no frame or structural issues with our 2015 3910FB after 18K miles of towing.

We liked the Front Living Room models. Would have bought the Montana FL but like every other builder of the model pass through storage was lacking. Also, PW was a bit higher than I wanted but acceptable.

Welp i took it back. They did another repair.

On the way home after it had been fixed it made it 8 miles.

Then the wall blowed out!

Yea your telling me.

So i am up to two attempts at getting this fixed. They want to come pick it up monday to do who knows what now.

Would a lawyer get us out of this unit or will it be a waste of time?

I understand your frustration. Heaven knows you have been more patient than I could ever be. I doubt a lawyer can get you out of it, and Keystone has a heard of lawyers on staff to stop all work until all their delay tactics expire. Maybe your state has a lemon law that can include RVs but unlikely. My fight now would be to have the factory repair it.
