Loose TV in 3295RK

Our main TV is loose. It seems to be pivoting about the right corner. For the life of me, I can't figure out how it is suppossed to be fastened in. I remember from the Factory tour that they build from the inside out. I am afraid they fastened the TV down from the back before they installed the outside of the slide.

There is a fire place below the TV and i intend to investigate how to remove it and maybe get access to the TV from the underside.

Any ideas or experience would be much appreciated. This thing is heavy as well as fragile and I would like it secured.

Dave,

The TV's are held in place (at least on the ones we have looked at) with long screws, through say, the shelf above the TV, through and into the plastic housing of the TV.

NOW, if you have the fire place, I cannot help you one iota. We do not have the fireplace, and therefore when we found that the top screws holding the TV in (less than 2 months into ownership) had both broken, we had a rather easy time finding the screws.

ON our unit there were 2 screws holding the top and 2 holding the bottom.

Not that this info is a lot of help, sorry, we wish you all the luck in the world finding the clues to your hiding screws!

On ours there was 1 screw at the top and 2 in the bottom. The top screw could be accessed by removing the center speaker which could be popped out, the bottom 2 could only be accessed after the fireplace was moved. Just remove the front screws under the flip down covering the controls, romove that face plate and you will see screws on both sides of the inside of the fireplace, remove them and just push the fireplace in to access the 2 screws going into the tv.
