Atwood on demand HW

Has anyone heard anything about Atwood discontinuing their line of on demand hot water heaters?

This winter three rigs on the same street we were on had on demand water heaters and couldn't get hot water. When they called the factory they were told that the water entering the rig was too cold (it was the middle of the winter) and so luke warm was the best they could expect. That took on demand off my list of mods.

On demand is a joke anyway. Too expensive run on electric and propane and you get the same result for 1/3 the price. Also proven design, Just my 3 cents.

I though a on demand would be a great thing to have but not if it doesn't work in the cold weather we live in Washington St and are out in the Mountains traveling in the winter time.
