Artemus, Keystone said it would take several weeks to get the rear cap, because the one on my rig was no longer used in production, one would have to be special ordered

2013 3402 big sky 27 problems to date (29 months) 2006 3400 22 problems in the 7 years we had it not counting the to many to list problems that resulted from, our fire and meltdown. IMO that is about normal for about any brand RV. Many of the problems were minor and nearly all were a result of poor build quality. Over 80K combined miles traveled and we are long timers spending a average of 7 to 9 months living in the Montana.

It is my opinion that many people purchase RV's with little or no knowledge of the product and therefore have very high and false expectations. A bit of research on other Rv forums will reveal the same issues with all brands. Also the more miles you put on them and the more you live in them the higher the chance of something going wrong.
We sold Rv's at large RV shows for a few years and most folks are clueless.

Nope, we're certainly not newbies.we had our previous fifth wheel 10 years, then sold it just a little over a year ago.
I made the pie (actually two pies) and we're here at the RV Park. I've definitely mellowed out and am more relaxed than I've been in months. I absolutely love our Montana. It suits us to a T. I still can't get over the fact that this model was only produced for a year. But once we get settled on any trip I can feel the stress completely melt away in no time at all.
