Installed a Moden in ours a couple of years age. Got under the sink and the lines fit perfect with no leaks. DW then points out that hot and cold are reversed!! Still that way.

Ozz,
Your nightmare is one of the reasons I have a Dremel set in the trailer. Nice Job.

I intalled the samr faucet at home (without the stripped nut). After four months I disconnected the touch "ON - OFF" feature, but I like it overall.

Dremel wouldn't work. I have a portable, battery type and a corded.
You can't get it up where the nut is.

Ha! it's a team effort. I am sloppy, splash all over when doing dishes. She is always wiping down and never says much, but I know it bothers her. This will be neater, no splashing around.

That's funny! I marked my lines, but they had the colors reversed, so had to re-mark them. I guess they are right, Sue didn't say anything, I'll check them this morning. We ate out yesterday. Reuben's and Basil Tomato soup....yummy...

Jim,
First, nice pictures, nice job.
However, I don't see any need for being upset. It's just a plumbing job!
I HATE plumbing. After many years of doing what I could do myself, I now call on other to do it, and I'll pay them.
Case in point. Moved into house (1984), garbage disposal stopped working. Purchased new one at many people's favorite store, Sears. Made at least 8 trips back and forth to the hardware store for fittings.
Two months later, children thought it would be nice if mom had a stainless steel sink. "Dad will install it." this time I went to the hardware store and bought (1984 prices) $38 worth of elbows, nipples, tee's, unions, etc. I still had to make one more trip back to the hardware store for a part. When I was finished I returned $30 worth of merchandise back to the store.
I do feel your pain, really do.

Wayne, you are a wise man indeed. I often laugh when people complain when I give the bill to them about the prices.
Any job a person undertakes requires many special tools, simple becomes complex at the drop of a hat.
My Pappy was a Plumber, I worked with him learning the trade, the thing I learned the most was that I would not become one. I respect the trade, just not for me. I branched off into Pipefitting, specializing in Refrigeration, HVAC and electrical, because the Lions share of a HVAC problem is electrical. I bet I easily have $50,000 in extra parts, specialized tools and materials bought for jobs I didn't use in my shop. If I get a gas piping job, I grab 2 or 3 containers of fittings and nipples. When I run low on an item, I go and spend a hundred on more, to keep stocked. Time is money in service work.
