Having to slam the screen door!!!

When we go to close the screen door we have to slam it or push real hard for the latch to catch.
I have adjusted it all that I can.
Are other people having any problem with theirs.
Also, looked for a lower screen door protector, the RV books have them for $50.+.
Found a white pet protector for screen doors at Home Depot, for around $14.00
It works great, just have to measure the screen door widith and cut is off just inside there last hole and re-drill new holes, Pop-rivited it on. Matches great

Sven -
Ours was like that when we first got it, but the dealer adjusted it nicely. As for the screen protector, a lot of people have been using plexiglass inside to allow light in and keep the breeze out.

We use the plexiglass top and bottom. You can have the door open and use the furnace or the a/c.

Our door is the same, we have adjusted as much as possible. Never thought about adding stuff to the door, might have to take a look at that.

We were having trouble with ours but just a simple adjustment and it works fine now. We are definitely going to put the plastic on our screen door. Just too many times when I'd like to look out the door and also have more light in the coach. So that is a MUST DO project.

Carlson, we're just about neighbors. I have my seasonal at gunstock during the summer months. Just across the lake from you. I have had the same problems with the screen door latching on my new Mountaineer. I'm taking it in next week and having it fixed along with a few other things.

The link here shows some of the "improvements" we made, including the acrylic covering for the screen door. Ours is a 3295. We also replaced our hide-a-bed with a leather loveseat (not pictured) for comfort and for a bit of extra space.

Have had the same problem with my screen door, dealer has adjusted it once, still not the greatest. Going to have to take it in after our trip to Flordia next week. also have some cabinet doors that I need to close together. This seems to be a problem every year. I re adjust them, and the next year, they stick again, anyone have a permenant fix for this??
