Man I love Tax time

For the first time in recent recorded history, we are going to see a return, and the timing couldn't be better. We plan on making the trip to Toledo this Summer, but the need for a new clutch in the TV was threatening to put a damper on that. As it turns out, our return will be enough to do the clutch and some other repairs and upgrades we needed to do before the trip, without killing the budget. I guess Leslie is right, God will give us everything we need and nothing we don't. I'm glad He's on our side.

I avoid getting a 'return' if at all possible. That just means that the government has had your money all year...and is now returning it to you, without interest.

We did really good this year in keeping as much of our tax monay as possible. we only owe 56.00. We will be getting a State of Ohio refund. We will work on that this year. We can never be sure what we might make Helen working at Disney and me bus driving so it is hard to do a accurate withholding figure. We both claimed Zero dependents on our federal tax on our "outside income" and that worked out pretty good.

I agree with most here, I'd rather keep as much as possible. I figured if I only had to pay $100 I'd be happy. Fortunately, a return came when we really needed it.
