3670 Front Closet Suggestions and questions

I only recently realized that there is a standare 120V double receptacle power outlet in the Front/Coat Closet next to the entry door.
Hmm, what would that be useful for?

Also, below that outlet on the closet floor is a 1" or more hole with an escutcheon around it. What would that be for?

And finally, beneath the closet there is a blank woodwork panel left of the power panel - is something behind there or is the space intended for??

If you have a central vac, it is installed where that blank is under that closet with the power cord coming up through the hole in the bottom to plug into that outlet. We have also used it for charging our cell phone.

If you don't have a central vac, I would suggest that it is something you might want to consider as a useful addition. The model used in the Montana is available from Intervac Designs. www.intervacdesign.com. If you call them, I think you will find them quite helpful.
