Drifty1,
Larry that sounds like a plan. We certainly enjoyed the eating establishment down in Newport. And it sounds like you found at least one or two places down in Florence! Thanks for offer of parking place. Catch you on down the road. Dennis and Mary Kay

This episode reminds me to caution anyone who is going to take the Mid-Bay Bridge to Destin, FL. Our GPS did not account for the fact that the previous access to the bridge was blocked off and a new access had been built with it's starting point about about a mile further back. I ignored the signs that identified the new route since i had gone the old way for the past two years. After all, my GPS and I were both positive we knew what we were doing. Fortunately a very nice lady had taken it upon herself to keep a watch for any campers who were on the old route. She chased after us and told us how to get back on track. The turn around was difficult, but not as harrowing as the one that started this post, but if she had not told us how to correct our route we would have been stymied since the GPS was not helpful at that point.
