Cable TV

Not sure if I’m in the right place but I might asking anyway. ☺️ This is our second camping trip to a campground that has cable TV.....it’s been fuzzy at both campgrounds. No one else is having this issue. Think something is wrong in the camper but what would it be? Yes the antenna button is off. Just have no idea what’s wrong. Hubby and I look at each other like what are we missing?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Double check your connections to make sure the cables are screwed on tight.

Run a coax from the pedestal directly to your TV bypassing the Montana internal system. Do another scan and see what you get and if good results means problem is with internal coax system somewhere.

If it's internal it's probably the splitters located behind the convenience pannel. I had to remove them to get my satellite to work.

That is where your fresh water connection, dump valves, and cable and sat connections are.

Thank you all! Our antenna booster is right behind the TV and I had turned it off. Today hubby will connect directly to TV to see if it’s internal. Thanks again! 🤗

We had the same exact issue as you. Went around and tightened every connection I could find including removing the screws holding the connection points in the convenience center and tightening them. I used a wrench and pliers to make sure everything was tight and I found some that were a bit loose. We now have a better picture.

Hey!!! Well it must be internal because we get a very clear picture running it directly from the campground cable box to our tv in the LR. Just no watching TV in bed until we get this fixed! 😊 Thank you all again for your help.
I know some folks say you don’t go camping to watch TV but we are in Pigeon Forge and it’s been raining and chilly so yes.....I like my TV!! 😁
