Looks like we need another potato type dish. How about au gratin potatoes.

Haven't decided yet what gourmet selection will be but I've noticed that there is a def absence of red or white liquid refreshments. I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur (love the spell checker) after figuring out how to open those pesky boxes, so how about if we provide one of each? (You'll have to bring your own fine crystal). Hmmm, it will be a special occasion so I may have to spring for those fancy bottles with the twist off caps!!!

Our attendees list has shifted around abit lately but it looks like we'll be feeding somewhere around 35 people at the Shasta potluck dinner.

We don't have enough side-dishes signed-up yet to feed that many people so if you haven't signed-up, please help the organizers quit stressing and sign-up soon.

I'll bring a second side-dish to help, but I'll wait to see where we are lacking before I sign-up the second dish.

Thanks.

Just looking for the interior width and depth of the oven in a 3295RK if anyone has a tape measure and the time to measure their oven for me.

Our Montana is in a storage facility and I can't measure the oven without hooking up the 5er and towing it somewhere just to open the slides to measure the oven.

My goal with this is to go buy the biggest casserole dish I can get to fit into the oven for our Shasta rally potluck.

Thanks!

If the oven is the same as our 3670 I'd be glad to measure it tomorrow since I go right by the rv....

Margee...

If you put the rack as far down as you can, you can go 8" high, 14" deep and 15.5" wide. Hope this helps!

Margee if you can't get your pan in the RV oven, remember we are going to be in a cabin and it is suppose to have a full kitchen. So you could use our oven if you need.

Thanks for measuring your oven for me Roy. I wanted to make a big enough dish for 37 people but could always make two smaller ones and keep one warm in the oven at the Rec Room that we have reserved for the dinner.

Sue, thank you for the offer....just might have to take you up on that to get both dishes done in time for dinner.

I was also going to make a second potluck dish but can come up with something that doesn't have to stay warm... maybe like a dessert. Mmmm.... brownies anyone? Triple Chocolate Chunk Brownies?... Creme de Menthe Brownies?... Double Chocolate Soft Caramel Brownies?

The Creme deMenthe are usually a crowd pleaser. I was thinking though that I have never made any of the brownies in a gas oven or at a higher altitude and am wondering how they'll turn out. Guess I'll have to try it and see what happens.

We're bringing Decadent Fudge ... it's addicting! We will also bring another dish, but am still deciding on which one, we will let you know soon. Looking forward to this trip. We hope to pick up some new recipes if people feel like sharing.

So sorry we haven't signed up for food sooner, however, we had a death in the family and we've been out of town for two weeks. Sure good to get back to the MOC info. We'll bring French Silk Pies (2 or 3) and a green salad unless you'd really like to have another casserole???? I thought with all the BBQ we may not need a lot of casseroles, but I'm willing to make whatever. Actually, I just thought of a rice and vegis casserole that is really good. Shall I bring the casserole or a green salad?? Any preferences??
