NewTruck
Well, we finally traded in the 2006 Ford F-350 (6.0 Diesel) on a new 2011 Ford F-350 6.7L Diesel. All I can say is "WOW"....I love this truck.

The more you drive it, the more you will like it. Even though the evaporator core had to be replaced at 8000 miles, I really like this truck.

Congrats. We have had ours since the beginning of March. Got a little over 8300 miles with 80% of that towing my Monty. Only complaint is putting in the DEF. First time the message center indicated I was low (800 miles) we looked in belief. Had only 2500 miles on it. Probably not topped off when I left the dealership. Warning - I can only find the bottles of DEF at Ford Dealerships. Not at NAPA, Advanced Auto, AutoZone...yet!
Otherwise a great ridin' truck with plenty of power.

Congrats on the new truck! We just picked ours up last Friday and even though it is not a FORD, it is still great and there is nothing like having a new one. No DEF with the Dodge, which is one of the reasons we went with them this time instead of a Ford. Just got the hitch, plug and airbags installed last week, but still waiting to get 500 miles on it so we can see how it tows the Montana. Enjoy that smell

Yes, Walmart does carry 2.5 gallon containers of DEF. I just bought one last week (BlueDEF is brand name and it was $11.37) Funny thing was, not one person who worked there had a clue what it was and what I was looking for. I happened to find it near the gallon jugs of motor oil.

Charlie44, The more you tow the more DEF it will use. With no towing a tank of DEF should last til the next oil change. If you're towing 80% of the time you are going to use more DEF

I got it for the same price as Tim did at Walmart. Blue def by Peak - the antifreeze guys, now branching out into motor oil, def, and other auto "stuff".

For those of you with the 2011 Fords. There is a new tranny flash available at your dealer to help it shift better. I love mine.

Liquid urea. Thats what def is. It allows the engine to run dirtier than they use to and they clean the air back up by injecting the urea into the rejen can you have underneath. More hp for us but at a price. Al
