Not your typical day at the beach!!

Hey gang, a wonderful day because of our Lord's provisions:
We are at Myrtle (myself, DW and two dear daughter's) and are thoroughly enjoying the time we have together. Yesterday my daughters and I are enjoying the waves with our body boards (Dad may be a little on the aged side but still has fun) and I notice an elderly couple out past me (my feet can touch bottom but I know there is no way they can. So there I am marvelling at their age (appeared 70-80 range - no exaggeration) and their swimming abilities, when it finally dawns on me (as the elderly gentleman is struggling and goes under a couple times) that they are definitely in trouble. They have two others with them (that I assume were younger relations). I paddled over and manage to get the gentlemen stable with my body board with what I assume is his son's help. I then asked the lady if she was okay and received a resounding no, so I asked the younger man if he could handle what I assume was his dad and then swam over to the lady to assist her. Undertow is still dragging us out but I manage to hold my own and am able to stabilize her, luckily I look towards the beach and the lifeguard is there on his ATV and I wave to him for help. To make a long story short, two lifeguards quickly arrived and managed to get all to shore. I swam back, got my body board back from an obviously exhausted couple, and after recieving there thanks immediately thanked our wonderful Lord for allowing me to be in the right place at the right time.
The women are proud of old Dad now, but again all Praise goes to our Creator for putting me there to help this couple. Our God is a wonderful God.
Bingo

Bingo
I have always believed that God puts us in situations for a reason. Most times we question him, but if people would trust God and follow his plan they would be a more content group of people. God Bless you for not being afraid to go out and help. Most people now adays just stand on the sidelines and go oohhhh...aaahhhhh, why isn't anyone helping? We need more of you out there. Heres to seeing you on the road.

That was great, Bingo. When one just does the next right thing, as you did, life is simple and all is well. We hope to meet you on the road someday.
