05 3685FL

I am a very unhappy montana owner. I own an 05 3685 FL and have had nothing but problems. My only saving grace is that I am one hell of a price hound and will be trading it off while its still worth something.

I bouth the thing in Apr 05. I was under the impresion I was getting a better trailor then I thought. After a few months of use I realised that I didnt get as good as I thought.

First let me say to the die hard Montana owners I hope your trailor is all you hoped for and never has a problem one. I also realise that there are certain things that are in all trailors, like the stove, frig, fire place, washer/dryer so I cant blame keystone for that.

What I can say is keystone will not help you if you have a serious problem. The drain under the shower was leaking water into the belly of the trailor. Keystones responce when I tried to get it fixed was adding some plummers puddy to it and it will be fine. The real problem was the shower tub part is not supported right and will move, thuse allowing the drain to losen up and leak again.

When I asked the factory to fix it I got keystone rv's are not built for fulltiming and things will break. At this point I have had enough, I ordered an 06 Doubletree 36TK3 Elite Suite and will be trading mid march when it arives. I have been informed that keystone will be taking this one back to the factory and take it apart. Montana owners watch your drains.........and good luck

I am sorry to hear that your Montana did not meet your standards. I wish you luck on your new Double Tree Elite Suite and hope it better suits your needs.

Stiles, we can only hope that he's leaving or maybe like another habitual complainer around here a few months ago, he also will just disappear.

Gee this sounds just like an earlier post where you were bashing all the appliances as well as the shower leak. I have to choose my words carefully so I won't be edited again, but I join the above posters in bidding you good bye.

I think we'll find that those who really complain about the Montana (and Keystone) will have more problems with their next choice of RV but we will never see a post about their complaints. There are some people who would complain that their mother didn't make them right either.

Sounds to me like a person that cant understand that all things that are made on a line have fault to include the high dollar ones. Look at the Etsel now a collector. So long..

Makes you wonder if they tried the dealer. My shower was faulty and the dealer fixed it right away. Oh Well,, judging by the amount of posts they weren't very patient.

This guy may not have been very diplomatic in his presentation to this forum and I would guess to Keystone, but the issues he had with his Montana have been reported many times on this forum..They are known real issues. His primary error was not tunning into this forum or other forums BEFORE he purchased the Montana so he would know what to expect..My guess is that he did no homework on his next purchase and will be just as disappointed. Not only were there defective things on his camper his spell checker and grammar checker are also defective.

GOOD ON YA RICH!!!!PEOPLE LIKE THIS POSTER REALLY DON'T IMPRESS ME. PHYLLIS AND I SPENT MANY MONTHS RESEARCHING AND LOOKING AT ALL THE FIFTH WHEELS ON THE MARKET FOR OUR NEEDS THE MONTANA WILL SUFFICE FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.
THE OLD SAW, YA GETS WHAT YA PAYS FOR STILL HOLDS TRUE. THE MONTY IS NOT TOP OF THE LINE, NOR IS IT LOW END,IT JUST MEETS THE NEEDS OF VERY MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE WITHOUT TRYING TO BE SOMETHING IT ISN'T.
THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY SOME PEOPLE COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO ANY OF US AT ANY TIME WITH OUR MONTY'S. I FOR ONE ABOLUTELY LOVE LIVING IN OURS.
JUST MY INFLATED 2 CENTS WORTH.
