HELP Where is the Cable Connection 3400

We have had Direct TV since we had this unit. Outside there is a connection for Satelite which worked great. Tha park we are in tonight has cable. I'm sure the Tech showed up a cable connection when we did the walkthru but we can't find it. We have an early 2005 3400.
Happy trails...................

On the rear right above the fresh water hook-up. Drivers side under flip-up cover. Dan

Just a though. If you have trouble remember to turn off the external TV amplifier. It is the little black button with a green light next to it. Mine is up in the bed room. Not sure where your is located. It will have a single coax connector. On my system the cable and TV antenna are on the same jack. The Satellite is a separate feed all together. As I said when using cable turn off the Amplifier.
Hope this helps.

Good luck and tow safe.

Update
On our unit the Satellite Prep jack works also for the cable. I'm not sure I understand this because they use different size cables but the lower (cable) evidently can work through the higher rate cable but the higher rated cable cannot connect to the lower cable. Anyway with a little bit of trial and error, we hooked up the cable and it worked in the living room and then we hooked the little loop up and had cable in the bedroom. John, yes our booster is in the bedroom also and we had it turned off. This part works the same as our other 2 5ers did. The important thing is we figured out how to make it work. Ours came with a 1-2 splitter so there is a feed to the FM radio and our new Sony has the same connection. So we need to get a 1-3 splitter and we will be in business.
Happ trails..................

You know, a simple description of this procedure would be nice to have in the owners manual. Ours is an older model with separate wiring for sat and cable so I can't check the manual to make sure it's not in there. Anybody know?

Steve
I had checked that and it is not. From reading all the posts about the DVD, Direct TV and cable, I think there are many different configurations. For instance someone talked about putting a splitter in and ours already had it.

Our 05 only has one connection that is labled for satellite, but I have successfully used it with cable. I don't think it would hard to add a cable connection if you really need both. I have a real rat's nest of cables in the entertainment centre, but somehow it all works.
