Jensen Bedroom TV Moving

Hi All:
New rig 2013 3800RE and I can not figure out how to extend the Jensen 12 V bedroom television on its support bracket nor how to move it from the bedroom to the outside compartment. Obviously the unit is built to be extended and moved but I can not figure it out. HELP please. Golferdave

If yours is like my Jensen:

To Extend - behind the TV in the center of the mount should be a short webbing strap. It is attached to a spring loaded clip. Pulling down on that strap moves the clip down and allows you to pull the TV out away from the wall at the same time as you are pulling down on the clip. If your strap was removed or never installed - using a flashlight look behind the TV.

It is just a bent piece of metal that has a little indent that you are pulling down. It is that indent that the TV portion of the mount sits in keeping it from moving.

Once you have the TV Extended out - If you look right where the mount attaches to the wall - you simply lift upwards on that mount end and it will slide up the groove and detach from its mount point the wall. Take it outside and it slides down on the mount outside.

If you still cant figure it out I'll get you a picture.

Here's a picture.

#1 is the clip that you pull down while pulling the TV away from the wall.

#2 is the part of the bracket - just on the wall side of the pivot - that slides up and off of the dove tail mate on the wall.

Interesting. Mine is on a on a non tilt-swivel fixed bracket on the wall in the bedroom. TV slides straight up to remove. Never figured out why they didn't have a bracket like above. Oh well, may be cause it is a Mountaineer.

There should be a strap behind the TV. Pull down on the strap, fairly hard, while pulling TV away from wall. Then lift TV and arm up out of wall attachment.

On our 3750 the bedroom Jensen does not extend, does not swivel, and I did not think it was removable (now I have something else to check). Ours does not have the basement tv mount so that may explain the difference?

Ours is just like Greg shows. Must be a difference in some models.
