LED lighting fixtures from Keystone

I went to the Pomona RV show in October and saw the new Montana line. I was sorry to see the 3455 (my unit) was removed from the line, but I liked some of the new changes. The LED lighting looked good and the frameless windows looked good too.

I spoke with Chuck Wade (Montana West Coast Rep) and he indicated that the LED fixtures would probably be available from the factory if I wanted to upgrade mine. Sounds like a possible future mod for me.

Yes, the LED light fixtures are great we really enjoy them, they came in our 2013 SOB Keystone.

My comments may be redundant, but many of the existing fixtures can be retrofitted with LED bulbs. Many of us have done that and they work great.

I think you would be much happier with LED's from Michael and Kat

While they might work great, just wondering if the improved (?) light they provide is worth the expense????

We replaced every single bulb in our rig so there isn't anything Michael and Kat don't have a bulb for. It's not just the improved light, if you boondock the saving in wattage is significant and you aren't constantly going down to Walmart to buy new bulbs. Putting in LED bulbs where you would use them most is certainly cheaper than getting whole fixtures from Keystone and let's remember how many threads there are on here talking about the cheap products Keystone puts on our rigs. I can't imagine Keystone using the quality bulbs available elsewhere.

Some good points. Is the light from Michael and Kats bulbs a warm color? That's my only fear with LED's. If the color is good and they have them available, I read the posts and was impressed. That might be a better solution than changing out the fixtures. Comments on the color?

Thanks for the link. I just looked at the site and the feedback from customers is impressive. I'll go this way. Thanks again.

Joyce is an artist and likes the color better. I'm partially color blind so I'll just say I like the light better.

I have some of Michael and Kats LED's ... the color is a bit more whitish for no better a description than the stock bulbs. I like the somewhat brighter light with others at the campgrounds responding the same. Try em ... you'll like em ...
