Hmmm, I still think the technically correct issue or causeis viewing angle. In this case viewabiity is the effect and changes with vertical viewing angle. Most flat panel manufacturers specify horizontal vieing angle which is the usual concern. One hundred seventy degrees is a usual spec. But, few if any manufacturers describe a vertical viewing angle. We have a new Mitsubishi flat screen in our stick house. It is at a hieght which optomises the view from a seated position. If one is standing, thereby changing the vertical viewing angle, the picture is decidedly darkened. The viewability has decreased.

Dave, that info is good to know - 170 degrees viewing angle. I know mfrers always list this, but I was unsure of as to what the "standard" was. Thanks. I have never seen a vertical (up and down) listing for an LCD screen. That's interesting.
Sue, so the word that would describe "One's ability to be adaptable, or flexible" should be the word, "Fluidability"? We should start our own dictionary...

Dave(dsprk), the Magnavox model#15M400T/37 series was the choice we made for an LCD tv. It is mounted above the escape window between the upper cabinet doors. From the bed we have an excellent viewing stright to the tv, but as all LCDs, when you walk by it, don;t bother looking at it. We are now getting a door made to cover the old tv location just to the right of the closet sliding doors. Note, our model is a 3280 which may be different from other models as far as location of the bedroom tv. Just make SURE when you decide to move the tv that it will fit between the two overhead doors, I have about 1/4" clearence on each side and the doors don't touch the tv. We will have the Monty at the Great Lakes Region Rally in August and at the National Rally in September to show anyone interested in moving their bedroom tv.

I'll check the archives. We're interested in putting one in the bedroom. It will free up a cabinet for storage if we can find a way to do it.

We went out today and bought an LCD Flatscreen TV for the bedroom. We have taken the old bedroom TV out and Colin has put a splitter on the cable and is going to run the wire behind the dresser draws and down into the basement so that we can use the old TV outside. Diana

Thanks for the picture. Does that lift up so that you can store stuff behind it?

You guys are all too smart! We have been looking for a T.V. for our bedroom in our 2005 3400 RL. We are now using a 13" and , since we can't see and I can't hear, it would be nice to have a bigger screen with bigger captioning. We tried one 20" but couldn't fit it behind the trim, "close, but no cigar". Of course this was just a reggular T.V. I would consider a newer type, i.e. LCD or flat screen but want the biggest picture possible. We'll be looking for more photos of how you have installed the different model T.V's.

This is one area I feel Keystone is lacking when it comes to the Montana. I have talk with factory reps time and time again, they really need to upgrade the electronics they use in the Montana. The tv's for sure, and even the surround sound system. Many rigs now offer the Bose Lifestyles in the living room and flat panel tv's in both living and bedrooms. Just my opinion, but some better technology would sure be nice.
