Question on LED's

Do LED light require special handling like halogen lights? The dealer put LED's in our new trailer and at least a half dozen have burned out in just a couple hours use.

No special handling. I would check the voltage first. Possibly a converter problem. Voltage may be too high. Please keep us posted. Good luck

I had a couple that the connections worked loose (2 out of 35) but once the connections were remade everything was good. Also, low voltage is really bad on LEDs.

The LED's from Michael and Kat will perform well in low to high voltages. Others are not as well made and can't handle the high voltage from the charger.

As Charlie said, if the LED doesn't have constant current circuitry, you are buying cheap, soon to be dead lights.

The big problem is, the ones you buy from dealers aren't cheap their just cheaply made. I'm glad I went with Michael and Kat's, not a single problem so far.
