Sitting in the Monty

That's what I'm doing this morning! After having a week of spring in Colorado, 80 on Tuesday, 6"+ of snow on Wednesday I wasn't sure if I would still be able to get the Monty out of storage on Thursday. But the sun came out enough on Thursday to pick it up that evening. I spent most of yesterday getting it ready and we just went a few miles south to check everything out last night.

I still have a lot of cleaning that I may do a little of today. I might break out the Awesome and get some of the streaks off that soap and water wouldn't take off and a few things I can do in the campground but it's just nice to start the new camping season even with the price of diesel.

I rely on camping through others experiences here on the MOC during the winter months but now I finally can start making new memories in my Monty again.

You are right. It has been a crazy spring with wide fluctuations in temperature. Sure glad you can begin to get out. Hibernation is over.
