Mistake?

After a lot of comparison shopping for a trailer, we just purchased a 2003 Montana 3655FL at the RV show. Our main concern was quality and price. Didn't give too much consideration to size and towability
Now I am having second thoughts about the size. I noticed most members have a 32 or shorter. Did we make a mistake? We plan to be full timers after retirement in several years but want to use this trailer for travel until then.
We have a 96 Dodge 3500 with the V-10 and auto trans.
Any comments for a new owner (dummy)?
Thanks
