Rear Slides on a 3750fl

Has anyone had trouble with the carpet bunching up when the two slides come together ? It has pulled the wood panel from the foot of the bed and split it

The panel on our bed started coming loose so i glued and used an air gun with longer staples. Carpet isnt coming up-at least not that I have noticed. Plan to inspect the carpet today. Where is your carpet bunching up at?

Welcome to the forum. I would think that if the slides are putting that much pressure on the carpet surface they should be adjusted. I have haven't noticed any movement of the carpet but I have only moved the slides about 20 times.

We had the same issue and had it fixed under warranty. They simply adjusted the bedside slide and steamed and re-flattened the carpet.

Slide adjustment is spelled out in the Lippert brochure included in the documentation that came with the unit. Usually pretty easy as long as you mark your start point in case you have to rework your adjustments and follow the steps sequentially. Dealers often categorize slide adjustments as routine maintenance not covered by warranty. Others do from a customer goodwill perspective. Our experience over the years, once adjusted correctly ( the slide seals correctly top, bottom, sides) and does not track the interior carpet, pretty much adjustment free after that. Sorry to hear you had problems with yours.
